Thanks to the unremitting efforts of the Chinese Embassy in Libya and the interim working group in Benghazi, five Chinese journalists stranded in a Tripoli hotel were safely evacuated and properly settled by the Embassy.

Leaders of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to the safety of Chinese nationals in Libya. The Chinese Foreign Ministry has launched an emergency mechanism and guided the Chinese Embassy in Tripoli to help Chinese citizens in Libya, regardless of all difficulties. The Foreign Ministry and the Embassy in Tripoli will continue to make every effort to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals there.
