Notice to Facilitate Applicants with Inoculation of COVID-19 Vaccine Produced in China

To maintain people-to-people exchanges between China and other countries, starting from 15 March 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Ghana will facilitate visa applicants who received inoculation of COVID-19 vaccines produced in China and obtained the vaccination certificates:

I.Foreign nationals and their family members visiting the mainland of China for resuming work and production in various fields need only to provide the documents required before the COVID-19 pandemic when applying for a visa. Please refer to General Chinese Visa Information of the embassy website(http://gh.china-embassy.org/eng/lsyw/fhqz/t1352306.htm).

II.To properly expand the scope of emergency humanitarian needs, foreign family members of Chinese citizens or permanent residents of China, including spouse, parents, children and other close relatives living as household (referring to siblings, grandparents and grandchildren), may submit visa applications for the purposes of reuniting with family, maintaining the elderly, visiting relatives, attending funerals or visiting relatives who are critically ill. Approval or rejection is subject to the Embassy's discretion.

You are kindly reminded that double PCR tests are required at designated medical institutions. When arriving in China, visitors are required to abide by the COVID-19 control measures of the Chinese Government.
