A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Properly and truthfully filled out Visa Application Form, to which one passport-size photo is attached,

2. Valid passport with blank pages and a photocopy of the data page, and

3. Additional documents deemed necessary by the visa officer.

B. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

1. Business Visa: Original invitation from an authorized Chinese organization.

2. Tourist Visa: Round trip air-ticket, hotel reservation, traveler check and original invitation from an authorized Chinese travel agency.

3. Student Visa: Original and photocopy of the notification of admission from the receiving school, completed Visa Application Form (JW-202), Physical Examination form (Q-2) and original HIV/AIDS clinical test report and a photocopy.

4. Employment Visa: Employment Permission and visa authorization paper issued by relevant Chinese authorities.

5. Transit Visa: Valid visa of the destination country (region) and connecting flight tickets.

6. Visa for Hong Kong: Please consult with the visa officer.

7.Diplomatic & Service Visa: Official note from a governmental or an international organization.

NOTE

1. Visa holders can enter China only within the term of visa validity. Employment and student visa holders must register themselves with the Public Security Bureau within 30 days of entry.
2. Overstaying will constitute a violation of Chinese law. Prior permission must be obtained for stay extension.
3. Activities not in conformity with the visa type are prohibited.
4. Visa applicants providing forged document or false information will be denied and put on record.
5. Visa processing takes 4 working days.
