Hon. Mr. Abulaiti Abudurexiti, Vice Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the Special Envoy of H.E. Mr. Hu Jintao, the president of the People's Republic of China, attended the ceremony of Ghana 50th anniversary of independence on March 6,2007. Twenty-six heads of State from Nigeria, South Africa and other countries, and forty-two high-level government delegations, including China, attended the ceremony.

Hon. Mr. Abulaiti paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor and H.E. Ebenezer Sekyi Hughes to convey congratulations from H.E. Mr. Hu Jintao, the president of the People's Republic of China on the occasion of Ghana's Golden Jubilee. Hon. Mr. Abulaiti left Accra on March 7 after ending his three-day visit successfully.
