The Government of the People's Republic of China declared three days national mourning period for victims of the 12th May earthquake from Monday 19th May to Wednesday 21st May 2008.

        A Book of Condolence is open at the chancery of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Ghana from Monday 19th May to Wednesday 21st May from 10:00a.m.  to 3:00p.m. each day.
