On the occasion of the disastrous earthquake in Sichuan province, Rt. Hon. E. B. Sekyi Hughes, Speaker of Ghanaian Parliament, expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolence to his counterpart and the people of China.

Rt. Hon. Speaker assured of his personal support and that of the country, Ghana in the trying moment. It is also the hoped of Rt. Hon. Speaker that China would remain united at this difficult time especially during the reconstruction period.
