Chinese Ambassador To Ghana H.E. Mr. Shi Ting Wang And His Wife Pay a Courtesy Call On the First Lady of the Republic Of Ghana

On August 22, 2018, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Mr. Shi Ting Wang and his wife Mrs. Zhao Man paid a courtesy call on the First lady of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

Ambassador Wang thanked H.E. Mrs. Akufo-Addo for sparing time to meet with them. China-Ghana relations is enjoying strong development momentum and the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in various fields have yielded fruitful results. H.E.President Nana Akufo-Addo and Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo will soon pay a state visit to China and attend the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). This is President Akufo-Addo’s first visit to China since he took office in January 2017 and will have a profound impact on the development of bilateral relations. The Chinese Embassy in Ghana is willing to maintain close communication and coordination with the Ghanaian side to ensure a successful visit.

H.E. Mrs. Akufo-Addo congratulated Ambassador Wang on his position as the new Chinese Ambassador to Ghana. She expressed her willingness to fully support H.E. Mr. Wang’s work. H.E. Mrs. Akufo-Addo emphasized that President Akufo-Addo and her are looking forward to visiting China and attending the FOCAC Beijing Summit. I believe that with the joint efforts of both sides, this visit will be a complete success, she added.
