On April 4 2018, the outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Mdm. Sun Baohong paid a farewell call on Minister of Aviation of Ghana, Hon. Mdm. Cecilia Dapaah.
Ambassador Sun thanked Hon. Dapaah for her attention to the development of China-Ghana relations and strong support towards the work of the Chinese Ambassador and the Chinese Embassy in Ghana. Ambassador Sun said that China-Ghana relations is witnessing strong momentum for development and the pragmatic cooperation in all fields has achieved fruitful results. China looks forward to working with Ghana to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the field of aviation and push China-Ghana relations to a higher level.
Hon. Dapaah thanked Ambassador Sun for her support to the development of Ghana and felt sad for Ambassador Sun's departure. Hon. Dapaah stated that Ghana and China have carried out fruitful cooperation in the field of aviation. The successful experience of African World Airlines (AWA) is very beneficial to Ghana. She hoped that China would make full use of the opportunity of the vigorous development of West Africa’s aviation industry and continue to strengthen the cooperation in aviation between the two countries.
